Reporting claims immediately is a very important first step in controlling costs and providing care. Prompt reporting allows for greater opportunities to manage the claim to its best result. Claim costs are drastically reduced when an injury is reported the within 24 hours. This enables the CompGlobal Claims Administrator (TPA) to timely investigate accidents for accurate compensability decisions. They will complete and file state forms so the client doesn’t have to. Coordination of quality medical care from the onset is extremely important so our claims representatives and nurse case managers can assist workers with recovery and a safe return-to–work (RTW).
During the investigation phase, our claims representatives will identify subrogation opportunities. They will secure facts, witness statements, and evidence that will recover monies paid for injuries caused by at-fault third parties. If fraud is suspected, the CompGlobal team will pursue investigation to further develop the case for potential prosecution. Timely reporting of claims and other quality services benefit the insured by lowering claim costs, which affect the client’s experience modification factors and potentially lower premiums.
